Majlis Hari Raya Pendidikan Khas

Pendidikan Khas telah mengadakan majlis hari raya pada 28.09.2010. Majlis diadakan di bangunan Pendidikan Khas dan dihadiri oleh guru-guru dan jemputan khas.

Program Solat Hajat Perdana dan Majlis Restu Ilmu

Program Solat Hajat Perdana dan Majlis Restu Ilmu akan diadakan pada 30 September 2010 bertempat di Dewan Al Falah SMK Jengka Pusat. Ibu Bapa pelajar yang menduduki peperiksaan tahun ini dijemput hadir. Tetamu jemputan adalah YB Ahli Parlimen Kuala Krau, Dato Hj. Ismail bin Mohd Said.

Majlis bermula seawal jam 7.00 malam. Tentatif program adalah seperti berikut

Para pelajar tingkatan 5 dan tingkatan 6 Atas hari ini mula menduduki Peperiksaan Percubaan SPM dan STPM. Warga sekolah dan PSS mengucapkan selamat menjawap soalan dengan hati yang tenang. Semoga anda semua beroleh keputusan yang cemerlang.

Kempori 30 tahun SMKJP

Kempori 30 tahun SMK Jengka Pusat telah diadakan seperti yang dijadualkan. Kempori yang diadakan sempena menyambut ulang tahun ke 30 penubuhan pergerakan pengakap di SMK  Jengka Pusat. Kempori ini turut disetai oleh pasukan dari SK Ulu Jempol dan SMK Jengka Pusat 2 dengan kekuatan seramai 150 orang.

Disamping itu perjumpaan alumni pengakap SMK  Jengka Pusat turut diadakan dan mendapat sambutan.

Kempori ini mendapat kerjasama dari Majlis Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia Jengka yang turut menyampaikan sijil pelantikan dan penghargaan kepada mereka yang tela berjasa kepada pergerakan pengakap di Jengka. Berikut adalah urutan perjalanan kempori.

Majlis Runding Cara

Majlis Runding Cara pelajar SMKJP akan diadakan pada 2 Julai 2010. Program ini akan diadakan di Dewan Al Falah bermula jam 8.20 pagi hingga jam 12.00 tengahari. Disamping itu pameran pendidikan juga diadakan.

Bacaan Senyap

Program mingguan Bacaan senyap hari diadakan seperti biasa di Dataran Ilmu. Program yang bertujuan untuk menggalakkan pelajar membaca ini mengambil masa 10 minit. Tajuk hari ini ialah Tip Sihat Cara Rasulullah. Intisarinya adalah seperti berikut

 1. Bangun sebelum Subuh

• laksana solat tahajud dan subuh
• nikmati kesegaran udara subuh - boleh rawat penyakit tibi

2. Tidak makan berlebihan

• makan bila lapar, berhenti sebelum kenyang
• makan berlebihan punca segala penyakit

3. Menjaga kebersihan

• cuci rambut, potong kuku pada hari Khamis atau Jumaat
• pakai haruman / minyak wangi

4. Berjalan kaki / bersenam

• senaman paling mudah untuk mengeluarkan peluh
• melancarkan perjalanan darah
• mencegah penyakit jantung

5. Tidak pemarah

• marah sifat yang dibenci Allah - boleh menimbulkan sifat keji lain seperti dendam, dengki, sombong dan angkuh.
• kesihatan dan kekuatan Muslim bukan terletak pada jasad, tetapi pada kesihatan jiwa
• terapi mengawal perasaan marah
• ubah posisi ketika marah - kalau berdiri endaklah duduk, kalau duduk hendaklah baring
• amalkan bacaan "aku berlindung kepada Allah SWT dari syaitan yang direjam"
• tidak meninggalkan solat

6. Sifat pemaaf

• sangat dituntut untuk mendapat ketenangan hati
• memaafkan orang lain akan membebaskan diri kita dari belenggu rasa kemarahan.

Musim periksa telah tiba. Bermula 20.05.2010 para pelajar tingkatan 4 dan 5 telah mula menduduki peperiksaan pertengahan tahun. Kemudian diikuti oleh pelajar tingkatan 6, bermula pada 24.05.2010 dan tingkatan 1,2 dan 3 bermla pada 31.05.2010. Peperiksaan akan tamat pada 04.06.2010.

Warga sekolah mengucapkan selamat menduduki peperiksaan kepada semua pelajar. Jawablah dengan penuh yakin dan semoga anda sekelian mendapat keputusan yang memberangsangkan.

Maklumat lanjut mengenai alat ini boleh dilihat di sini, Pada masa ini alat tetuang ini, tidaklah begitu penting dalam sesebuah kumpulan muzik atau orkestra. Ianya mungkin digunakan untuk sesuatu tujuan yang lain seperti gimik perasmian, untuk majlis pelancaran dan sebagainya.

Untuk meniup alat tetuang ini payah jugak. Ia bukanlah mudah ditiup seperti seksefon yang dimainkan oleh kassim selamat dalam cerita ibu mertua ku. Silap gaya ia tak berbunyi, dan mungkin keluar bersembur air lior dihujung corong depannya. Tempias kepada orang sebelah. Dua tiga orang rodong koi seperti Haris, Jo dan Fazlizan serenda nak meniupnya. Orang yang mempunyai nafas yang panjang sahaja boleh meniupnya dengan molek. Biasanya orang yang perut buncit. Itu pun kena banyak buat latihan. Kalau nak jadikan ia sebagai bermelodi lagi lah payahnya.

Mengikut maklumat, alat ini dibuat dari tanduk kerbau. Untuk membuatnya bukanlah susah sangat. Cari je tanduk kerbau yang panjang agak- agak seseta ( hasta) . Tanduk kerbau boleh di dapati dari merata rata rumah sembelih kerbau dan lembu atau mana mana kerbau yang disembelih untuk Korban di Hari Raya Korban pada 27 dan 28 November ini. Cuci molek molek, sebaik baiknya basuh dengan klorok, supaya hilang baunya. Kendian pancas di bahagian hujung yang tajam supaya nampak lubangnya. Pada bahagian lubang inilah tempat untuk di tiup. Kita tak perlu buat lidah dan lubang lubang macam seruling. Kalau rajin bubuhlah tali renda ikat langsir ( seperti gambar) supaya nampak lawar sikit.

Seminar Menjawab PMR

 

Seminar menjawab PMR sedang diadakan di PSS untuk calon-calon PMR 2010. Seminar ini berlangsung selama 3 hari bermula hari Isnin (2.5.2010) hingga hari Rabu (5.5.2010). Dalam seminar ini para pelajar didedahkan dengan kaedah menjawap soalan objektif dan juga subjektif meliputi semua mata pelajaran PMR. Berikut adalah beberapa rakaman foto seminar tersebut.

PSS telah mendapat bekalan komputer sebanyak 4 buah. Terima kasih kepada pihak pengurusan kerana telah menyumbangkan komputer tersebut kepada PSS.

Menurut En Zazali, Guru Perpustakaan dan Media (GPM) komputer ini telah ditempatkan diruang Galeri dan akan digunakan sebagai Pusat Akses Maklumat. Komputer ini akan dirangkaikan ke talian internet bagi membolehkan para pengguna mengakses maklumat di internet.

Pihak Pengurusan PSS berharap dengan adanya komputer ini, penggunaan PSS akan dapat dimaksimumkan penggunaanya.

How Does the Human Body Eliminate Dead Cells?

The human body is a complicated system which operates much like a self-contained city. Some organs produce new cells, others use cells to perform their jobs, and eventually certain scavenger cells arrive to remove dead cells from the system. In the case of the human body, these scavengers are specialized white blood cells called macrophages. Macrophages remove dead cells essentially by eating them, which helps to explain why the word macrophage means "big eater" in Greek.

When external skin cells die, there are a number of mechanical and chemical methods used to slough them off. Exfoliants and scrub brushes are often employed to remove dead cells and encourage new cell turnover. But dead cells within the human body are not so easily removed. They go through a much more complicated elimination process, which is not always as efficient or thorough as one might hope.

Living cells become dead cells through two different processes. Many body cells are programmed to die at a prescribed time, through a process called apoptosis. Red blood cells, for example, are programmed to die after 120 days of service. Other cells, such as white blood cells, may be programmed to die an apoptotic death after only a few days. These dead cells may continue to flow through the body's bloodstream or collect in various organs, but they are clearly no longer contributing to the system.

The other process for creating dead cells is called necrosis. Necrotic cell death usually occurs after a trauma or infection or other shock to the system. When cells become necrotic, they may be removed through surgery or other medical intervention, but often they enter the bloodstream in the same way as apoptic cells. The body cannot function well with an overabundance of dead cells, so macrophages take on the mission of breaking down the excess.

A macrophage cell can literally detect dead cells through smell, much like a scavenger bird detects dead animals. Whenever dead cells reach the part of the bloodstream patrolled by a macrophage, the macrophages surround them and convert them into easily removed components. At the same time, the macrophage covers the dead cells with a substance known as an antigen. This action tags the cells for further attack from other types of cells in the body's immune system. Ideally, the macrophages and killer T-cells should render both dead cells and foreign invaders harmless enough to re-enter the bloodstream for elimination.

When macrophages become overwhelmed, however, they may allow some dead cells to pass through unprocessed. The DNA from those cells may trigger an inflammatory reaction as the dead cells combine with other substances. This process is the basis for many autoimmune diseases such as Crohn's disease or lupus. Bolstering the body's macrophages is often a course of treatment recommended for autoimmune diseases and even some forms of cancer.

Once the macrophages and other immune system components have essentially digested the body's dead cells, the cells make their way through the bloodstream and eventually into the digestive system for final disposition. This means that the solid waste we call fecal matter is largely composed of dead cells sloughed off by the various organs and processed for elimination by macrophages.
